Minella Class another jewel in the Henderson novice camp

Nicky Henderson has some superb talent in his ranks of novice hurdlers this season.

The trainer can boast a number of class acts in each novice hurdle division and in the two and a half mile hurdlers he has two very smart prospects.

Bobs Worth and Minella Class are the trainer's contenders for the Neptune Novices Hurdle and both will have very strong claims to landing the prize, something that is reflected in the Cheltenham betting offers.

Bobs Worth has already won twice at Cheltenham this season and is a progressive tough battling sort who will have no fears when facing the hurly burly of a Festival race. He has looked a true professional in everything he has done and a big run looks guaranteed at Cheltenham.

Minella Class is arguably the flashier, more classy horse of the pair, and his two wins over hurdles this season have come over the minimum trip, but he looked certain to improve when he steps up in trip and if that does prove to be the case, the Neptune Novices Hurdle could be added to his role of honour.

Either way it will take a brave punter to bet against a Nicky Henderson trained runner landing the prize come Wednesday 16th March.

Meanwhile, the Grand National latest odds are starting to settle down after the announcement of the official weights and a few key trials.

There are currently four horses contesting favouritism and it looks set to be a very tight race.
